Are You Suffering from Neck Pain?

The more you know about neck pain causes the better off you will be. Believe it or not, most people suffer from neck pain causes at some point in their life. Yours may be more serious than others, or maybe it is just a minor tweak. But no matter what, if you know what this is all about and how to address the problem you will be better off. This is one of those potential health concerns that you want to know a lot about even if you are not suffering.

So what neck pain causes are most common? It is hard to say what cause is the most common of them all, but many believe that it is muscle strains. If you pull a muscle in your neck or back it can lead to a lot of pain in the area. In fact, the pain can be so bad that it may make you wonder if you didn't hurt yourself in another way.

Of course, there are more serious issues that can come up over time. For instance, a herniated disk can lead to a lot of pain and eventually cause problems in other areas as well. This is something that needs treated by an experienced doctor, and may even call for surgery depending on how bad your situation is.

Finally, another one of the most common neck pain causes is injury. This can include anything from a car accident to falling down. Landing on your neck the wrong way or being suddenly hit without notice can lead to injury to the neck and back.

If you are suffering from neck pain it is important to receive a proper diagnosis. Even if you think you know what the problem is you should see your doctor just to make sure. Neck pain is not something that you want to take lightly as minor problems can linger and get worse over time.

Now that you know more about neck pain causes you are in better position to handle this problem should you begin to suffer.

I'm having neck surgery and have a possible middle-ear infection. Will this complicate things?
No cold yet 3 weeks to go , but I'm having a nagging problem with my right and occasionally left ear getting plugged up. The surgery involves an incision in the side of my neck not sure how near the Eustachian tube and going around to the disc. Is this something I should get looked at beforehand? I've had this problem before, and it usually clears up after awhile.

Hi, my question is kind of complicated but hopefully i can get some help..OK here goes....I had neck surgery?
goes....I had neck surgery in june of 09 last year. The next day a transportation service picked me up from the hospital the nxt day and the driver caused severe whiplash to my neck. Now i have to have surgery again in a couple of weeks because the bone above the area where i had surgery is damaged due to my whiplash. Yes i did talk with a lawyer who is just looking into my medical reports but i have not retained him yet but will get someone. But my question is why did my surgeon have me to sign a form called '' AGREEMENT REGARDING EXPERT WITNESSES''? What does the form i signed really mean and should i have signed it? THANK YOU

1 year ago i had fusion neck surgery still have daily pain and am stiff all the time anyone have this problem?
I was in a car accident and got serious whiplash and they ended up fusing my c6 and c7 discs, I have still pain daily some days more that others, but seems everyday I am still very stiff. I feel worse the more I push myself to do things. Lifting even the slightest things hurts me and feel like I will never get my life back. I still take pain medication everday, have had cortizone shots before the surgery they didnt seem to help. having a hard time fusing together and healing not sure if the surgery was the best thing to have done, its a different pain now then what I had before, Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and still had pain?
