Are You Suffering from Neck Pain?
The more you know about neck pain causes the better off you will be.
Believe it or not, most people suffer from neck pain causes at some
point in their life. Yours may be more serious than others, or maybe it
is just a minor tweak. But no matter what, if you know what this is all
about and how to address the problem you will be better off. This is one
of those potential health concerns that you want to know a lot about
even if you are not suffering.
So what neck pain causes are most common? It is hard to say what
cause is the most common of them all, but many believe that it is muscle
strains. If you pull a muscle in your neck or back it can lead to a lot
of pain in the area. In fact, the pain can be so bad that it may make
you wonder if you didn't hurt yourself in another way.
Of course, there are more serious issues that can come up over time.
For instance, a herniated disk can lead to a lot of pain and eventually
cause problems in other areas as well. This is something that needs
treated by an experienced doctor, and may even call for surgery
depending on how bad your situation is.
Finally, another one of the most common neck pain causes is injury.
This can include anything from a car accident to falling down. Landing
on your neck the wrong way or being suddenly hit without notice can lead
to injury to the neck and back.
If you are suffering from neck pain it is important to receive a
proper diagnosis. Even if you think you know what the problem is you
should see your doctor just to make sure. Neck pain is not something
that you want to take lightly as minor problems can linger and get worse
over time.
Now that you know more about neck pain causes you are in better
position to handle this problem should you begin to suffer.

What can I do about this back/neck pain?
My mattress is cheap and very old, and every morning when I wake up I feel as if someone has crinkled my spine eighteen different ways. I usually don't sleep through the night because I spend most of it trying to find a comfortable position. The lack of sleep doesn't really bother me, but I can't stand waking up every morning with back, neck and even shoulder pain. What can I do to prevent this?BTW I already know I should get a new mattress, but that's not possible right now, so suggest something other than that.Jake Trust me, it's not posture. I feel completely fine during the day, it's only when I go to bed and wake up.
Connection between wisdom teeth, sinus pressure, ear pain, and neck pain?

I hit the top of my head really hard, now I'm having neck pain ..should I go to a doctor?
A few days ago, I was getting groceries out the trunk of my car. All of a sudden, the trunk slammed down on the top of my head super hard..It felt like I got hit with a sledge hammer or something..Anyway, since then I keep getting pretty bad headaches and pains in my neck and some in my shoulder, it feels almost like a crick in my neck.I haven't went to the hospital or doctor, but my question is should I go?? Does it sound serious enough to go?? I have been really tired with the headaches..any advice or information would be appreciated, Thank You.Also, afterwards, I didn't get a bump, knot or nothing on the top of my head, it was just really tender and sore on the spot of impact.
Should I see my doctor about this (breast and neck pain, possible lumps...)?
okay, so I'm 16 and I've noticed for a while that there seems to be a lump or something right at the top of the right side of my neck, and now I've been experiencing pain mainly only on this side of my neck as wellI also think I feel what may be lump in my right breast, and possibly in my left too but I'm not sure...anyways, I think my breasts are unusually tender, because they hurt even when it's not around my period, like just touching them slightly feels sore, which I don't think is normalso should I set up an appointment about this? I think the two could possibly be connected in some way, considering they're both on the same side of my body, but maybe that doesn't make sense, idkI had the neck thing checked before but the doctor said he thought it was nothing, then again you couldn't really feel it on that day, because some days it seems to be more noticeable than othersanyways, opinions?
Suffering neck pain. Particularly when moving the neck down. How do deal with this issue?
This actually started yesterday, but wasn't very intense so I ignored it and simply went to bed, figuring it would be gone by the morning. But the pain through the night became so bad it actually woke me up and I've no desire to go back to sleep and achieve a greater pain. Admittedly I'm kind of sleepy but I'm in no position to try to be getting more.Should I continue to ignore it and it will go away, and got worse last night simply because I was laying in bed unhealthily, or will it progress and get worse like it has?Or, would it be a good idea to stretch it in different directions, despite the pain? And if waiting is good, in what position is best? Clearly in bed is not a good idea. What about the position I'm current at at the computer right now, sitting, is that a bad idea? Should I be standing instead?Which of these two actions, and any others, is more likely to bring me swift recovery and relief, and which is more likely to prolong my pain?I refuse to follow links. If you have advise, please state it yourself and leave a link to a source if you feel the need. I do not easily simply follow links on y a that I do not explicitly trust because I do not want trojans. Even with NoScript, something might get through. The point of yahoo answers should be to give some help yourself.Yes, it is very recent. And I don't know of any injuries that have come to me. It started off very mildly, so mildly, I can't even decipher the original time even to a reasonable estimate other than " yesterday around noon" . And then it got slowly, progressively worse. Gaining in pain most rapidly as I slept.
Knee Pain And Stiffness .......And neck pain?
Hi I have had an extremely sore neck now for around 3 years I have been to the doctors and had x rays and nothing has showed up. Recently I have had pain radiating from my neck into my head just about an inch above the base of my skull, Then I started to get pain in the bottom of my back and it feels really stiff like it needs to be cracked. Now I developed a pain behind my knee it feels as though the muscle is the cause and I can hardly get up if I sit for more than 20 mins. I am not one for overreacting or going to the doctors at the drop of a heart but I am getting worried now I want to know what I might be and if there is any connection. I excercise daily but I don't over do it so I don't think it is that . Thanks for any help D
