Are You Suffering from Neck Pain?
The more you know about neck pain causes the better off you will be.
Believe it or not, most people suffer from neck pain causes at some
point in their life. Yours may be more serious than others, or maybe it
is just a minor tweak. But no matter what, if you know what this is all
about and how to address the problem you will be better off. This is one
of those potential health concerns that you want to know a lot about
even if you are not suffering.
So what neck pain causes are most common? It is hard to say what
cause is the most common of them all, but many believe that it is muscle
strains. If you pull a muscle in your neck or back it can lead to a lot
of pain in the area. In fact, the pain can be so bad that it may make
you wonder if you didn't hurt yourself in another way.
Of course, there are more serious issues that can come up over time.
For instance, a herniated disk can lead to a lot of pain and eventually
cause problems in other areas as well. This is something that needs
treated by an experienced doctor, and may even call for surgery
depending on how bad your situation is.
Finally, another one of the most common neck pain causes is injury.
This can include anything from a car accident to falling down. Landing
on your neck the wrong way or being suddenly hit without notice can lead
to injury to the neck and back.
If you are suffering from neck pain it is important to receive a
proper diagnosis. Even if you think you know what the problem is you
should see your doctor just to make sure. Neck pain is not something
that you want to take lightly as minor problems can linger and get worse
over time.
Now that you know more about neck pain causes you are in better
position to handle this problem should you begin to suffer.

Should i see a chiropractor for neck and back pain/stiffness?
I have stiffness, almost like a constant " kink" in my neck like the one you get from sleeping on it wrong and dull pain in my back. My instinct it to crack them or stretch them but nothing happens. More often than not, the pain seems to move to my arms, particularly elbow pain and overall numbness in my hands and arms. Is the chiropractor the person to see for this? Can it be covered by insurance low income family so that is important. By the way, I'm an 18 year old high school student.

Extremely painful neck and back pains at 15?
I have been suffering for minor neck pains for a good many years, I would at least say round 5 years maybe. But it was never much, always something I could ignore and put down to growth. But in the past year it had got worst and worst. I now have back pains and pains at the back of my shoulder. Its gone from a minor ache to a bad pain. I can no longer ignore it and it is really frustrating. It happens all the time, I cant get rid of it.I am NOT overweight, I don't have any fat on me. My diet is not bad and I do regular exercise. This involves football every monday saturday. Some odd tennis playing and on sunday is just a relaxing day. Some people put it down to pure posture, I really don't think so but who knows. Others say my school bag is pretty heavy, but every ones bag is like mine. I just carry everything I need and that's it.What can I do? What is the reason for this? I really cant stand it any longer its that frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
Fix my posture and neck and back pains?
Okay, so I'm a tall 14 year old if that matters and I have a hunch back or forward head... whatever you wanna call it and my neck and back hurt a lot... almost all the time, giving me headaches and stuff... I know I should look straight ahead and put my shoulders back but it's really hard and it hurts even worse x.x I didn't even think my back looked so bad until recently when a kid called me " hunch bad" . The next day I started comparing my back to other peoples at school in the mirrors and noticed my back was way more hunched over then theirs That moment I felt so embarrassed... I can't believe I've been walking around like that for years Dx It hurts a lot too... so what do I do? I've tried to go to the chiropractor but my mom never actually makes the appointment... please help
Neck and back pain while sleeping on stomach?
I have slept on my side for all my life I'm 19 , but for the past few months I have started occasionally sleeping on my stomach and I think it's really comfortable. However, lately I've woken up during the night with a really sore neck, and in the morning I have a sore back as well. It's not a problem with my pillow, I have two that I use when sleeping on my side and when I sleep on my stomach I just sleep on the lower one. Of course since it hurts I have started sleeping on my side again but I often switch to sleeping on my stomach while I'm asleep. Why does it hurt and is there anything I can do? If it makes a difference I'm pretty thin and tall.
