Are You Suffering from Neck Pain?
The more you know about neck pain causes the better off you will be.
Believe it or not, most people suffer from neck pain causes at some
point in their life. Yours may be more serious than others, or maybe it
is just a minor tweak. But no matter what, if you know what this is all
about and how to address the problem you will be better off. This is one
of those potential health concerns that you want to know a lot about
even if you are not suffering.
So what neck pain causes are most common? It is hard to say what
cause is the most common of them all, but many believe that it is muscle
strains. If you pull a muscle in your neck or back it can lead to a lot
of pain in the area. In fact, the pain can be so bad that it may make
you wonder if you didn't hurt yourself in another way.
Of course, there are more serious issues that can come up over time.
For instance, a herniated disk can lead to a lot of pain and eventually
cause problems in other areas as well. This is something that needs
treated by an experienced doctor, and may even call for surgery
depending on how bad your situation is.
Finally, another one of the most common neck pain causes is injury.
This can include anything from a car accident to falling down. Landing
on your neck the wrong way or being suddenly hit without notice can lead
to injury to the neck and back.
If you are suffering from neck pain it is important to receive a
proper diagnosis. Even if you think you know what the problem is you
should see your doctor just to make sure. Neck pain is not something
that you want to take lightly as minor problems can linger and get worse
over time.
Now that you know more about neck pain causes you are in better
position to handle this problem should you begin to suffer.

I hit the top of my head really hard, now I'm having neck pain ..should I go to a doctor?
A few days ago, I was getting groceries out the trunk of my car. All of a sudden, the trunk slammed down on the top of my head super hard..It felt like I got hit with a sledge hammer or something..Anyway, since then I keep getting pretty bad headaches and pains in my neck and some in my shoulder, it feels almost like a crick in my neck.I haven't went to the hospital or doctor, but my question is should I go?? Does it sound serious enough to go?? I have been really tired with the headaches..any advice or information would be appreciated, Thank You.Also, afterwards, I didn't get a bump, knot or nothing on the top of my head, it was just really tender and sore on the spot of impact.
Head and neck pain and bulge?
my husband has been having neck pain for the last couple of weeks. it isn't a consistent pain but every now and then he has a shooting pain in the side of his neck. thinking it was just a sore muscle he has just been stretching and icing it. so over the past few days the pain has been coming more frequent and worse and the day before yesterday he started having pains in his head as well just a few inched above the area on his neck . he put icy hot on the area to help the muscle pain and it only made it worse. Now there are a few small lumps were he has been having the pain on his head and his neck. Can anyone tell me what this may be? Should he go to the doctor? I have been trying to convince him to but he is apprehensive.just to give some more details..his neck isnt swollen and the bulges are very small you cannot see them when looking at him but you can feel them three or four on each the neck and the head and they are about the size of a bean..you can see the ones on his head and they are a little red
Headache with shoulder and neck pain?
I've had a headache for a couple of days now. It comes and goes most of the time after I take some Advil. It's not very severe, but it is annoying. Then I woke up this morning with another headache and the back of my neck and shoulders hurt really bad. They are still aching and the headache has come back with a lightheaded feeling. I didn't work out. Did I just sleep in a bad position? Is it stress? Any suggestions for the shoulder and neck pain? Thanks in advance D

Neck pain and dizziness?
My 13 year old neice has recently been experiencing both neck pains and dizziness problems. She has been getting dizzy at random moments for a few months now. apparently during these " dizzy spells" , she kind of loses focus, as i can tell from her blank eyes, and the corners of her vision become grey blurry. The neck pains came later than the dizziness. The pain seems to be on both sides of her lower neck. I know that it hurts her in her joint as she moves her neck around or jumps. She is 5 foot 9, so tall for her age, and has relatively rounded shoulders and bad posture when sitting. Her mother also has arthritis in her feet. is it possible this is hereditary? Thank you
